Die Klause, Jugenheim, Germany

During the 1930s, Nancy Sandars made regular trips to an educational establishment in the Rhineland town of Jugenheim, called 'Die Klause'. Here she was taught German by Helene Koch. The adminstrator was Ada Brodnitz. Nancy wrote numerous letters home from there and has also recently added notes of her memories of her time there.
