Evening Primroses

Evening Primroses by Nancy Sandars

and a celebration of her life and poems
on 26th June 2017, in Woodstock

Evening Primroses is a posthumous collection of poems, published by Agenda, with a preface by John Fuller. It contains previously unpublished examples of her work from six decades, all characteristic of her sharp cultural and historical awareness, of her observant celebration of nature, and (in some moving last poems) of loneliness and loss.

On 26 June 2017 at 8pm in Woodstock Town Hall, John Fuller and others will be reading from her poems and leading tributes to her life and work.

Entry is free - wine will be served. Please follow this link to The Woodstock Bookshop if you would like to attend.
